§ 6-1. Bird sanctuary—City declared; law adopted.

  • For the protection, preservation and perpetuation of songbirds and other birds within the city, it is hereby declared that the territory within the corporate limits of the city shall be and is so declared to be a bird sanctuary, wherein, subject to the terms, penalties and provisions of the state law which is hereby adopted, the trapping, wounding or killing of any such birds is hereby prohibited.
